Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and third respondents i.e. the Principal Secretary to Government , Revenue Department, Chennai and the District Collector, Madurai to send revised pension proposals to the Accountant General, Chennai calculating half of the services put in by the petitioner as Vettiyan within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Honourable High Court. ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.LINGADURAI, Advocate for the petitioners and of MR.S.VISVALINGAM, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- [Order of this Court was made by M.SUNDAR,J.] Captioned 'Civil Miscellaneous Petition' [hereinafter 'CMP' for the sake of brevity, convenience and clarity] is disposed of as closed for the following two reasons:
