O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 6 to cancel the lease granted by the 3rd respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.M.2/306/2016 dated 24.08.2017 in favour of the 8th respondent and further to direct the respondents 1 to 6 not to grant lease to any person to take savudu, clay, Karambai and sand etc., in and around Kanoor Kanmoi, Sivagangai District. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 submitted that the permission granted in favour of the 8th respondent has been stopped as the period is over. He has also produced a copy of the proceedings of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.M2/306/2016 dated 23.11.2017.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Hence, recording the submission of learned Additional Advocate General, this Writ Petition stands closed. However, the official respondents will have to take action for the violation of the conditions of the license granted. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed. No costs.
