O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.421 of 2021 registered on the file of Othakadai police station for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of I.P.C.

2. The defacto complainant Alagarsamy is present before this Court. He is identified by Mr.S.Singaraj, SI attached to Othakadai police station. The defacto complainant Alagarsamy stated that the matter has been settled and he has no interest in pursuing the prosecution. When the defacto complainant himself wants to bury the hatchet, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned First Information Report alive.

3. Therefore, the impugned First Information Report is quashed. This criminal original petition is allowed.
