ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a mandamus, directing the first respondent not to register any document of any nature in respect of the properties covered under Document No.799 of 1978 in S.Nos.291/7 and 291/8 on the file of the first respondent without obtaining prior No Objection Certificate from the petitioner.

2. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the petitioner submits that the property belonging to the petitioner has been dealt with when he was a minor by his father. Therefore, he does not want to be bound by those transactions. If the petitioner does not want any other person to deal with the property that is claimed as his, the petitioner has to approach the competent civil Court and unless the competent civil Court grants any order of injunction, there is no power of the Sub Registrar to stop anybody from registering the document.

3. Except to observe that the objection of the petitioner which is on record will also be taken up and considered if and when any document is 2/4

presented in accordance with law, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent civil Court. No costs. 01.06.2026 NCC : No sji To The Sub-Registrar, Aranthangi Sub-Registrar Office, Pudukottai District.
