PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 02.04.2022 under the criminal law in the light of the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors, reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated as prescribed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 02.04.2022 under the criminal law in the light of the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors, reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated as prescribed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that after receiving the complaint, the respondent police has not taken any action.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that they are ready to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2022. 2/4

4. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.04.2022 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
