O R D E R
The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to supply copy of the resettlement register and 'A' Register pertaining to Pirattihyur West Village, Trichy West Taluk, Trichy District by considering the Petitioner's appeal, dated 17.4.2025.
2.Mr.Raghuvaran Gopalan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the first respondent and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 2 and 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is the case of the Petitioner that initially the Petitioner submitted an appliation seeking the above mentioned documents in Right To Information Act before the third respondent. Not satisfied with the reply given by the third respondent, the 2/6
Petitioner filed an appeal before the second respondent on 1.7.2024.The said appeal has not been considered so far. Therefore the Petitioner was constrained to file a Second Appeal before the first responent on 17.4.2025 and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the Petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Peition for the relief stated supra. 4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the Second Appeal filed by the Petitioner is not within time. Therefore the same is not maintainable. Even though a stand has been taken by the first respondent that the Second Appeal filed by the Petitioner is not within time, till date no order has been passed by the first respondent on the appeal filed by the Petitioner. It is not open to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal by making a representation before this Court.
5.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner as well as the first respondent, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the appeal filed by the Petitioner, dated 17.4.2025 in the manner known to law and pass necessary orders within a period of 4 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
