ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed directing the third respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of discharging of his duty.

2. The facts of the case are that the petitioner's grandson, namely, Kamal, is said to have involved in NDPS Act case and without furnishing any information, the said grand son went far away from the native place leaving behind his children. The children are now under the custody of the grandmother and she took responsibility for looking after the abandoned children. Being an old woman, the petitioner has not involved in any offence and she was no way connected with the aforesaid offence. But the respondent Police frequently called the petitioner for enquiry, thereby, harassing the petitioner. Under these circumstances, the petitioner preferred a representation dated 03.07.2022 to the respondent Police not to harass her under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submits that no complaint is pending against the petitioner and only in the name of the petitioner's grandson, a case has been registered.
