The petitioner claiming to be the Trustee of Arulmigu Majalkattu Ayyanar Temple, Tiruppathur, Sivagangai has filed this writ petition, seeking a Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 and 3 from permitting the fourth respondent to conduct ''Vallithirumanam drama'' on 03.06.2025 in the said temple, by considering his representation, dated 27.05.2025. 2.Mr.Antony Sahaya Prabhakar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 & 3 and Mr.F.Deepak, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the second respondent.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 3, by referring to the proceedings of the Inspector of Police, Nerkuppai Police Station in Na.Ka.No. 07/VIPS/Proceedings/2025, dated 28.05.2025 submits that a request has been made by the fourth respondent herein for conducting a drama during the temple festival and the said request was rejected by the Inspector, by his proceedings, dated 28.05.2025, considering the opposition from the villagers.

4.Since the claim of this petitioner has already been redressed by the respondent police, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
