ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first and second respondents to investigate the case in Crime No.257 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent police and to file a charge sheet against the accused. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner/defacto complainant, the case has been registered in Crime No.257 of 2016 for the offence under Sections 406, 420, 506(i) IPC. During enquiry, the petitioner/defacto complainant gave a statement that the matter has been settled between them out of the Court and not to take further action in this matter. Therefore, the respondent police closed the said complaint as ''Further Action Dropped'' on 14.07.2016. 3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. 14.07.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No vsd 2/4
