ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to file the final report in Crime No.167 of 2024 1/4

within a stipulated time.

2. When this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that they have examined three witnesses and they have also collected some documents and therefore, they have to ascertain as to whether the said documents are genuine or not. Therefore, they require two more months for filing the final report.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that a partial investigation has already been completed and they require two more months for filing the final report, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report before the concerned Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
