ORDER
This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondent to consider and pass order on the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2017 seeking patta within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard both side. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that neither civil suit nor rival claim whatsoever is pending in respect of the property in T.S.No.5829/2B-26 at Thoothukudi, which was purchased by the petitioner through registered sale deed dated 09.12.1996, he constructed house and has been paying property tax also. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2017, requesting the respondent to grant patta, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking appropriate direction to the respondent.

would be considered in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.
5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation dated 03.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
