ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is a civil dispute with regard to the re-payment of money pending between the petitioner and the complainant. Instead of approaching the civil court the defacto complainant has chosen to go before the police.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the issue is civil in nature and the police have not assigned any CSR number to the complaint.

4. The respondent police is directed to look into nature of the complaint and if it is civil in nature , the respondent police shall direct the parties to appear before the Civil Court and the respondent police is further directed not to harass the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
