This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed Under Section 582 of BNSS, to extent the time stipulated in the order in Crl.O.P.No.7968 of 2025 dated 29.04.2025 to surrender the petitioner before Learned I Additional District and Sessions Court, (PCR) Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases Under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989 Tiruchirappalli.

This Criminal Original Petition filed Under Section 582 of BNSS, to direct the Learned I Additional District and Sessions Court (PCR), Special Court, for Exlclusive Trial of cases under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989, Tiruchirappalli to dispose the bail application of the petitioner on merits on the same day of their surrender in Crime No.34/2024 on the file of the 1st Respondent.

ORDER: This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition filed in support there of and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.N.Mohan, Advocate for the petitioner and Mr.A.S.Abul Kalaam Azad, Government Advocate(Crl.Side) for R1 and R2, this Court made the following order:

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking extension of time granted in Crl.OP(MD) No.7968 of 2025, dated 29.04.2025, to surrender before the Special Court. 2.While ordering Crl.OP(MD) No.7968 of 2025, this Court, directed the petitioner to surrender before the concerned jurisdictional Court, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is some delay in getting the order copy and therefore, he could not surrender before the Special Court. Hence, he seeks extension of time.

4.In view of the above, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and a further period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, is granted to the petitioner to surrender before the Special Court.
