No.6288 of 2019 :- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying this Hon'ble Court to extend the time granted for file a bail application before the concerned court for a further period of 15 days in Crl.O.P.No.8347/2019 which was allowed on 17/06/2019.

Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure code, praying this Hon'ble Court to direct the principal Sessions Judge cum PCR Court, Pudukkottai to consider the bail application of the petitioner in Cr.No.88 of 2019 on the same date of surrender and dispose the same on its merits in accordance with law.

ORDER:- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.R.MAHESHWARAN, Advocate for the Petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, GOVT. PLEADER (Criminal Side), on behalf of the 1st and 2nd Respondents, this Court made the following order:

The petitioner seeks extension of time to surrender before the trial Court.

2.Earlier, this Court by an order dated 17.06.2019 made in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.8347 of 2019, directed the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In view of the error made in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.8347 of 2019, the petitioner could not able to surrender before the concerned Court. Hence, he seeks for extension of time.

3.Considering the above circumstances, time already granted by this Court is extended by two more weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, this Petition is ordered.
