ORDER
The writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2017 and grant the education loan completely as prescribed in the fee structure issued by the college authorities within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.
2.According to the petitioner, he is studying 5 years law course in Ponnaiyal Ramajayam Institute of Science University (PRIST University). Earlier, the petitioner applied for educational loan https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to the tune of Rs.5,90,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs Ninety Thousand Only). But the respondent sanctioned only a sum of Rs.40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand Only) per year without considering the fee structure of the college. Now, the petitioner completed 2 years, and for the remaining 3 years, the petitioner requires another sum of Rs.3,60,000/-. For current academic year, the petitioner has to pay a sum of Rs.1,20,000/- as fees, and after deducting a sum of Rs.40,000/- sanctioned by the respondents, the petitioner seeks balance amount of Rs.80,000/-. Even though the petitioner made representations dated 08.09.2017 and 09.10.2017, so far, no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent has submitted that the petitioner was sanctioned with loan for a sum of Rs.1,20,000/- for the three academic years and current academic year, they have disbursed a sum of Rs.40,000/- and they will disburse the remaining sum of Rs.80,000/-.
4.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, as the petitioner's representation for further loan to pay the college fees is pending with them, the respondents are directed to consider the representations of the petitioner and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
