ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to settle the arrears of commutation of pay, gratuity and leave salary to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 18.9.2017.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that though his pension has been revised fixing the grade pay as Rs.4,300/-, the commutation of pay, gratuity and leave salary have not been revised. Therefore, seeking to revise and pay the arrears, he submitted a representation dated 18.09.2017 to the respondents. However, no order has been passed thereon so far. Hence, he is before this Court. 3.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, who fairly submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

4.In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
