O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to provide suitable permanent alternative light duty to the petitioner with same pay scale and service benefits to him within the time period stipulated by this Court.

2.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.Heard, Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, learned Special Government Pleader, and Mr.A.P.Muthu Pandian, learned counsel, who take notice for the respondents.

4.Though larger relief has been sought, it is brought to the notice of this Court that before the filing of this Writ Petition, the petitioner had made a representation dated 11.10.2017 to the second respondent for the aforesaid relief, which has not yet been disposed of.

5.In such circumstances, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 11.10.2017, and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

6.In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to dispassionately consider the representation dated 11.10.2017 made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 31.01.2018.
