Government Order passed by the first respondent in G.O.(1D)No. 218, School Education (Pa.Ka.5(1)) Department, dated 20.06.2019 and quash the same insofar as condition No.9(i) is concerned and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner in the General Transfer Counseling for the year 2019 -20, scheduled to be held on 14.07.2019 or on other subsequent dates, for the vacancies to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher.

The petitioner was appointed as a Secondary Grade Teacher in Panchayat Union Elementary School, Kavalkaranpatty, Thogaimalai Union, Karur. Her husband is working as a Head Constable in Sattur Police Station, Virudhunagar District. She was awaiting to participate in transfer counseling of the year 2019-2020. At this juncture, the Government has issued a Government order in G.O.(1D)No.218, School Education (Pa.Ka.5(1)) Department, dated 20.06.2019, wherein, it is stated that the teachers, who are willing to participate in the transfer counseling has to serve in the present post for a period of three years. Challenging the above Government order, the petitioner has filed this writ petition in the year 2019. 2/5

2.Today (07.11.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel on either side submits that as per the proceedings of the District Educational Officer, Thogaimalai in Na.Ka.No.574/A3/2022, dated 28.02.2022, the petitioner has now been transferred to Panchayat Union Middle School, Rakkampatti, Thogaimalai Union, Karur and she is working as a Secondary Grade Teacher.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is closed. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed. 07.11.2024 NCC:Yes/No Index:Yes vrn 3/5
