Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to grant patta to the petitioner pertaining to registration of Sale Deed of house site property dated 25.10.2013 vide Document No.2955/2013 on the file of the Sub Registrar office, Chinnalapatti, Dindigul District in connection with Grama Natham Survey No.369 and New Survey No. 659/37 situated at Door NO. 2/69 South Street, Sakkaiah Nayakkanur , Jambuduraikottai VIllage , Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2017.

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to grant patta in respect of the property situated at Grama Natham Survey No.369 and New Survey No. 659/37 situated at Door NO. 2/69 South Street, Sakkaiah Nayakkanur , Jambuduraikottai VIllage , Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of his representation, dated 09.01.2017. 2.According to the petitioner, he purchased the said property from one Vellaikutty and consequently, he is entitled to get the patta transferred in his name.

3.This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same. However, as petitioner has made a representation on 09.01.2017 seeking for grant of such patta, the respondent is directed to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the rival claimants, if https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
