O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the property in question belongs to him and the same was classified as house plot instead of Agricultural land in the revenue records. He has submitted an application dated 19.07.2017 to the respondents seeking to rectify the above said wrong classification. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner be considered by the first respondent, within a reasonable time stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2017 and pass suitable orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
