Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent to award adequate police protection to the petitioner and authority concerned while at the time of carrying out the work of surveying and demarcating the petitioner's property situated at Survey No.204/172A, South Singampunari Group, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Balaji For Respondents : Mr.M.Chandrasekaran No.1 and 2 Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police protection for conducting survey and demarcating the property of the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court has already passed an order in W.P(MD) No.15098 of 2018 dated 12.07.2018 wherein the Tahsildar, Singampunari Taluk was directed to consider the petitioner's application for demarcation and to act in accordance with law within the stipulated time.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the fourth respondent is preventing the survey of the property to be conducted to demarcate the petitioner's property. The petitioner had given representation dated 29.07.2018 to the respondent police in this regard.

4. The second respondent is directed to give necessary protection at the time of survey conducted by the Tahsildhar, Singampunari Taluk, pursuant to the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD) No.15098 of 2018.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
