PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to pass orders on the review petition of the petitioner dated 20.03.2020.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the review petition dated 20.03.2020 filed by the petitioner.

2.By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 1/3

3.According to the petitioner, he has made representations dated 08.11.2018, 29.03.2019 and 13.08.2019 before the respondents seeking for notional promotion to the post of "Photographer", the 2nd respondent, by order dated 26.02.2020, had rejected the claim of the petitioner. Challenging the same, though the petitioner has preferred a review petition dated 20.03.2020 before the 1st respondent, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition.

4.Mr.A.Thiagarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that the petitioner's review petition dated 20.03.2020, will be disposed of by the 1st respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's review petition dated 20.03.2020 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, without making any further delay in its decision making process; 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
