ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction that the first respondent / District Revenue Officer, Madurai, to consider a representation given by the petitioner herein on 26.04.2023 and dispose of the same within a reasonable period of time. Even earlier on 22.12.2022, the first respondent had issued a notice calling upon the petitioner to produce certain documents. By a letter dated 26.04.2023, the petitioner had submitted the said documents.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader states that it is only imperative that one K.V.Virumandi, S/o. Virumandi, is also issued with notice before final orders are passed by the first respondent / the District Revenue Officer, Madurai.

3. A direction is given to the first respondent to ensure that notice is served on K.V.Virumandi, S/o. Virumandi and also give opportunity to both the parties namely the petitioner and the said Virumandi to produce documents and to be heard and thereafter pass orders in accordance with law on or before 31.10.2023.
