Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to re- fix the petitioners salary in the pay band of Rs. 9300-4200 GP on parity with the similarly placed employees of others departments of State Government with effect from 11.02.2014 and further fix the Petitioners' salary as per 7th Pay Commission Recommendation in the light of the Government Order in GO(Ms)No.30 Agriculture Department dated 11.02.2014 within the time period stipulated by this Honourable Court .

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to re- fix the petitioners' salary in the pay band of Rs. 9300-4200 GP on parity with the similarly placed employees of others departments of State Government with effect from 11.02.2014 and further fix the Petitioners' salary as per 7th Pay Commission Recommendation in the light of the Government Order in GO(Ms)No.30 Agriculture Department dated 11.02.2014.
2.Though the prayer in this writ petition is large in nature, the learned Counsel for the petitioners confined the prayer to the effect that it would be suffice, if a direction is issued to consider the petitioners' joint representation dated 25.10.2017, in respect of their claims seeking pay parity, submitted to the respondents and such a prayer is also agreed by the learned Special Government Pleader.
3.Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioners' joint representation dated 25.10.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
