ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.07.2021, wherein the petitioner has sought for electricity service connection within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.Y.Prakash, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that an objection has been received for granting electricity service connection to the petitioner and therefore, the application made by the petitioner was not processed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent, there shall be a direction to the respondent to 2/4

convey the decision to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
