PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the learned Additional Mahila Court (Magistrate Level), Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to expedite the Trial in C.C.No.540 of 2018.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Additional Mahila Court (Magistrate Level), Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to expedite the Trial in C.C.No.540 of 2018 within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the case is of the year 2018 and the same has been taken cognizance in the year 2018 itself.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that there are 9 witnesses in this case and the case is posted to 05.11.2020.

4. Under such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the learned Additional Mahila Court (Magistrate Level), Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to dispose of the case pending in C.C.No.540 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
