Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(i), 4(1) (aaa), 4(1-A) of TNP Act in Crime No.122 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 16.08.2018 the defacto complainant was conducting usual checkup, at that time, he came to know that two accused persons were illegally selling liquor in the first petitioner's house. On seeing the police, the petitioners herein were escaped and A3 and A4 were arrested with the bottles. Hence, the respondent police registered a case.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that 624 liquor bottles each contain 180ml were seized and no previous case is pending against the petitioners.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 5.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
