Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to issue proper Computer Patta to the petitioner with respect to S.No.119/1 and S.No.119/2 of Nachikurichi Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichirappalli District in terms of Patta Pass Book No.506014.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the computer patta issued to the petitioner contains some wrong entry. Therefore, he made a representation on 22.09.2016 for correcting the mistake and issuing proper computer patta in respect of the land in Survey Nos.119/1 and 119/2 situated at Nachikurichi Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichirappalli District on the basis of Patta Pass Book No.506014.

2.Needless to say that it is for the respondent to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the rival parties, if any. Therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner.

3.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the rival claimants. period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
