ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the first and second respondents to issue a patta in her favour by updating the Anupantham Patta granted on 28.02.2021.

2. The petitioner states that she has resided at Door No.2/78, Plot No.29, Y.Othakadai, Madurai East Taluk for several years. Under proceedings dated 28.02.2001 of the Tashildar, Northern Taluk Madurai, an Anupantham Patta was issued in her favour. In order to avail of a housing loan, it is stated that she approached the second respondent and was informed that the patta had not been updated in the relevant revenue records. After carrying a representation dated 15.07.2021 in such regard, the present Writ Petition is filed.

3. Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned counsel for the state, accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.15331 of 2021 petitioner's representation may be considered and disposed of on merits.

4. In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2021 and dispose of the same by a reasoned order in accordance with law after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. Such reasoned order shall be passed within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, W.P.(MD).No.15331 of 2021 is disposed of on these terms without any order as to costs.
