This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's case for compassionate appointment by considering her representation dated 29.01.2020. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's father died on 06.07.2018, while he was working as Village Assistant in the second respondent Department. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application on 29.01.2020 for compassionate appointment before the second respondent. Along with the representation, she has also furnished the school mark sheet, Aadhar card, death certificate, legal heir certificate, combined certificate and no objection given by her sister, mother and grand-mother. On 07.08.2020, the second respondent called the petitioner for an enquiry scheduled on 24.08.
2020 and after receipt of the notice, the petitioner was appeared before the second respondent and produced all the necessary certificates. Thereafter, the petitioner has also given another representation by way of reminder dated 12.10.2020 to the first respondent. However, no action has been taken by the respondents till date. Hence, the petitioner approaches this Court to pass appropriate order.

W.P.(MD)No.15451 of 2020 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that the request of the petitioner is genuine and the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2020 on merits and in accordance with law and to provide compassionate appointment to the petitioner, if she is eligible for the same, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
