Respondent PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to retransfer the petitioner to Tuticorin and to allot and post him as Assistant in any one of the office under the control of the respondent.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to retransfer the petitioner to Tuticorin and to allot and post him as Assistant in any one of the office under the control of the respondent.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2018 is disposed of on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the Authority concerned is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.04.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there are no legal impediments.
