O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J) The petitioner submitted a representation before the revenue authorities to remove the encroachment stated to have been made by the third respondent in respect of a public pathway. The Revenue Divisional Officer appears to have passed an order dated 24 September 2008, directing the removal of encroachment. Since follow up action was not taken, the petitioner has come up with the writ petition.

2.We direct the Tahsildar, Kumbakonam, Tanjore to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 11 July 2015, in the light of the proceedings dated 24 September 2008 on the file of the first respondent and dispose of the same on merits. before passing any order in the matter. Such exercise shall be completed within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
