Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Madurai to dispose the case in C.C. No.17 of 2014 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Madurai to dispose of the C.C.No.17 of 2014.

2. The petitioners are the accused persons who are facing trial before the Court below. The final report was filed in the year 2014 and the same was taken on file by the Court below in C.C. No.17 of 2014. There is absolutely no progress in the trial. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the prosecution was taking steps to examine LW 1 to 3. However, since they did not appear warrant was also ordered against the said witnesses.

4. The learned counsel further submitted that the respondent police is taking steps to complete the proceedings within the reasonable time.

5. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Madurai is directed to complete the proceedings in C.C.No.17 of 2014 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
