ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2021.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in CP No.42 of 2021 and it is pending.

3. In the compliant it was stated that there was money transaction between the petitioner and the third respondent herein. Even though, he repaid Rs.2,00,000/-, there was consistent pressure from the second respondent to give exorbitant interest. On that basis, he seeks police protection. Unless there is life threat, for such sort of issues, granting police protection cannot be entertained. Let the complaint given by the petitioner be enquired by the second respondent with regard to the specific allegations of demanding exorbitant interest by the private respondents. 4.With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
