Pleased to call for the records relating to the order dated 30.12.2021 made in M.C.No.44 of 2019 on the file of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thanjavur @ Kumbakonam and set aside the same as illegal and allow the above Revision Petition as prayed for. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.PADHMAVATHI DEVI.J., Advocate for the petitioner, While admitting the CRL.RC., the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time for depositing the amount in Crl.M.P(MD)No.4035 of 2022 in Crl.R.C(MD)No.319 of 2022, dated 28.03.2022 for depositing a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- to the credit of M.C.No.44 of 2019 on the file of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that due to financial crisis, he could not deposit such amount within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
CRL MP(MD) No.8016 of 2022 3.It is seen from the records that this Court has granted interim stay on condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- to the credit of M.C.No.44 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District on or before 28.04.2022. It is further seen that the petitioner has moved another application in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.5575 of 2022 for modification and the same was ordered to be dismissed, vide order dated 29.04.2022. The present application has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the order, dated 28.03.2022 . 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the reasons assigned, this Court is inclined to grant two weeks time to comply with the directions of this Court, dated 28.03.2022. 5.Accordingly, this petition is allowed and time is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. sd/- 13/07/2022 / TRUE COPY / /07/2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
