Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus calling for the entire records, connected with the detention order passed in H.S(M) Confdl.No.90 of 2020, dated 21.10.2020, on the file of the second respondent herein and to quash the same and to direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu namely, the Petitioner's son ie., Durai, aged about 24 years, son of Uikattan, now detained at the Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. [Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the father of the detenu, namely, Durai, aged about 24 years, son of 1/3

Uikattan, challenging the detention order in H.S(M)Confdl.No.90 of 2020, dated 21.10.2020 , passed by the second respondent, branding him as "Goonda" as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.5336, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XII) Department, dated 04.12.2020, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked.

3. Recording the above submission, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
