ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a directing the third respondent herein to issue an experience certificate to the petitioner for the period from 01.04.2016 to 27.09.2019 in which 1/3

the petitioner worked as Palavelai, Night Watchmen and Typist in the Arulmigu Sankara Narayana Swamy Thirukovil, Sankarankovil and consider the petitioner's application dated 05.08.2021 under the category of priority experience quota for the post of Sri Pandaram in the Arulmigu Sankara Narayana Swamy Thirukovil, Sankarankovil on merits and in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Counsel appearing for the respondents.

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.According to the petitioner, the petitioner was working as Palavelai, Night Watchmen and Typist for a period from 01.04.2016 to 27.09.2019 in the third respondent temple. The first and the second respondents issued a notification on 07.07.2021, calling upon eligible candidates for the various posts in third respondent temple. Pursuant to the notification, the petitioner applied for one of the said posts as per the Rules mentioned in the notification and he also applied to the third respondent for Experience Certificate on 05.08.2021 for the period, he was working in the third respondent temple. But the application is still pending with the third respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward by way of filing the present writ petition before this Court.

The learned Standing counsel appearing for the third respondent would submit that the petitioner's application will be duly considered if he is eligible and the said certificate will be issued within the time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6.On considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also considering the limited prayer sought as by the petitioner, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 05.08.2021 on merits and in accordance with law if the petitioner is other wise eligible , the Experience Certificate shall be issued on or before 01.09.2021.

7. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
