Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned order dated Nil published by the first respondent in www.trb.tn.nic.in/POL2017/0711 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 1st respondent to evaluate the petitioner's answer sheet and publish the result within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for challenging the rejection for evaluation of the answer sheet of the petitioner in the website on the ground that the petitioner had not mentioned the question serial code in the answer sheet and for consequential direction to evaluate the answer sheet and publish the result. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.In pursuance of the directions of this Court dated 16.11.2017, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of

the respondents has produced the answer sheet of the petitioner today, in which it is noticed that the petitioner had not shaded the any of the options namely, A, B, C and D as per the instructions to the candidates, which has been provided at serial No.2, which reads as follows:

"2.Fill the details including Name of the candidate, Register Number, Question Paper Booklet Series in the OMR Answer Sheet. If you fail to fill the details and sign as instructed correctly, you will be personally responsible for the consequences arising during the scanning of your Answer Sheet."

3.The petitioner having failed to comply with the instructions given to the candidates, cannot blame the respondents for having not evaluated the answer sheet and rejected the same on that ground. Hence, this Court does not find any ground to interfere with the impugned decision of the respondents declining to evaluate the answer sheet on the ground that the petitioner had not shaded column No.4 relating to the serial code in the question paper. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
