This petition is filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.265 of 2017, dated 10.09.2017 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.265 of 2017, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of five years, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) seeks two months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.

4. Considering the nature of crime, two months time is granted to complete the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.265 of 2017, Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 14.07.2022 Internet:Yes./No Index:Yes/no vsd 2/4
