ORDER
The petitioner / State acquired the lands of the land owners / claimants in all these Civil Revision Petitions in the year 1994 for providing house sites under the Housing Board. After acquisition, the land owners filed petitions before the trial Court seeking enhancement of compensation under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act. The trial Court had enhanced the award amount. Aggrieved by the said enhancement, the petitioner/State filed appeals before this Court and this Court has also modified the value fixed by the trial Court. Since the award amount was not paid, the claimants have filed execution 18/22
petitions. The petitioner/State also filed applications seeking a direction to the claimants to file full satisfaction memo by determining the issues in the petition and the said applications were dismissed by the trial Court. Challenging the execution petitions filed by the claimants and the order passed by the trial Court dismissing the petitions filed by State, the petitioner/State filed these respective Civil Revision Petitions.
2. On 20.08.2025, this Court issued a direction to the petitioner / State to file a calculation memo with regard to the award passed by the Land Acquisition Officer, the amount enhanced by the trial Court, the amount fixed by this Court; the amount paid by the State and the amount to be paid by the State as on today along with interest under Section 34 of the Act. Pursuant to which, the learned Additional Advocate General filed a calculation memo in respect of all the Civil Revision Petitions.

3. The learned counsels appearing for the claimants have no serious objections for the said calculation memo.

Accordingly, the said amount will be deposited to the credit of the respective land acquisition proceedings within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by calculating 15% interest if not calculated in the principal amount till the date of deposit. Failing which, the trial Court is directed to proceed with the EP proceedings in the manner known to law. After depositing the said amount, the trial Court is directed to disburse the amount after obtaining the full satisfaction memo from the respective land owners / claimants.
