This petition is filed to direct the second respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.54 of 2017, dated 17.02.2017 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.54 of 2017, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 427 and 506(ii) IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of five years, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police seeks one month time to complete the investigation and file a final report. 4.Considering the nature of crime, one month time is granted to complete the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.54 of 2017, Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 14.07.2022 Internet:Yes./No Index:Yes/no vsd 2/4
