O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2017.

2. Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that pursuant to the lesser marks awarded in the semester examinations written by him, namely, economics and accountancy, he had approached the 2nd respondent for revaluation of the said subjects. But, the 2nd respondent rejected the claim of the petitioner on the ground of paucity of time, as the petitioner got held up at Chennai on account of recent rainfall. Thereafter, he has submitted a representation dated 10.11.2017 to the respondents in this regard and since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for

by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.11.2017 and pass suitable orders in respect of revaluation of those papers on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
