This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Second Appeal dated 27.02.2017.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3.The case of the petitioner is that both his daughter and one Suyambulingam have got married on 22.11.2009 and now his sonin-law is residing in Australia. While so, the parents and relatives of his son-in-law have filed HMOP No.29 of 2012 on the file of the Sub Court, Nagercoil in his name for dissolution of marriage. Hence, in order to prove the alleged impersonation, the petitioner filed applications before the authorities concerned on 04.01.2014 and 17.03.2014, seeking information with regard to travel particulars of his son-in-law. As the same have been rejected, the petitioner has preferred second appeal dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
27.02.2017 before the respondent. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court by filing the present writ petition.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to dispose of the second appeal dated 27.02.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any of the interested parties.
5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
