This petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to appoint Government Pleader and Public Prosecutor https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for the Courts in the Kanyakumari District by considering the applications received pursuant to the notification issued by the 3rd respondent in notification No.C1/23216/2017 dated 22.06.2017 in light of the recommendation and remarks made by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kanyakumari.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General has submitted that the Government has appointed Law Officers for Courts in Kanyakumari District and he has also produced a copy of G.O.(D) No.1410 dated 21.11.2017 in proof thereof.

3. In view of the above, this petition is closed, granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge such appointments, if so aggrieved. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
