Prayer: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take necessary steps on the petitioner's complaint dated 17.09.2020 (CSR No.270/2020) and to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner to run of the Indian Oil Corporation Petrol Bunk (K.Aaiynar Agencies SAP 26730) at Thuraiyur Musuri Main Road, Kannaurpalayam, Trichy 621 202. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take necessary steps on the petitioner's complaint dated 17.09.2020 (CSR No.270/2020) and to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner to run the Indian Oil Corporation Petrol Bunk (K.Aaiynar Agencies SAP 26730) at Thuraiyur Musuri Main Road, Kannaurpalayam, Trichy 621 202.
2. The petitioner seeks police protection as she anticipates harm at the hands of the fifth respondent. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR No.270 of 2020 was issued. But till 1/3
date, no action has been taken against the fifth respondent. Hence, the present petition.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that running an Indian Oil Corporation Petrol Bunk is a public utility service and the same has been prevented by the fifth respondent illegally and would pray that it would be suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's complaint 17.09.2020 and give police protection, if it is necessary. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.
5.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the complaint given by the petitioner, on 17.09.2020. If necessary, the respondent police is directed to give police protection to the petitioner. If it is found that police protection is not necessary, based on the petitioner's complaint, the representation shall be rejected and the same shall be communicated to the petitioner so that she can work out her rights in the manner known to law. 6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
