PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner, her family members and to have peaceful possession and enjoyment of the properties comprised in Survey Nos.273/3 (47 Cent), 273/5(33 Cent), 273/11 (82 Cent), 275/3 (44 Cent), 275/7 (52 Cent), 276/4 (16 Cent), 276/11 (26 Cent), 276/17 (68 Cent), situated at Palayaneduvayal Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the representation dated 24.10.2020.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate police protection for the 1/3

life and limb of the petitioner, her family members and to have peaceful possession and enjoyment of the properties situated at Palayaneduvayal Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the representation, dated 24.10.2020. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3.The petitioner has given a complaint against the respondents 4 to 14 on 22.10.2020. The petitioner alleges that on 18.10.2020, the respondents 4 to 14 are unlawfully trespassed into her property and are also threatening her.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor admits that a complaint has been received by the third respondent and it is being enquired into.

5. Considering the said submission, the third respondent is directed to conclude the petition mentioned enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If cognizable offence is made out, the fourth respondent has to register an FIR. If no cognizable offence is made out, then the petition/enquiry shall be closed and the result shall be intimated to the petitioner without delay. In any event, the entire exercise shall be concluded within a period four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
