O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to convene a General Body Meeting as per approved By-law Resolution No.130/2001 to conduct election by monitoring officials of Wakf Board to the petitioner-Pallivasal, by considering the representations of the petitioner dated 04.07.2017 and 17.07.2017. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that now the Wakf Board has sent a communication dated 24.08.2017, which reads as follows:

"The Waqf Superintendent (i/c) is directed to prepare and publish the Draft electoral roll and prepare the final electoral roll of Shabash Khan Gori Pallivasal and Therku Pallivasal Waqf, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar District and submit the final electoral roll to the Head office for appointment of election officer to conduct election to the above said Waqf immediately."
