Mrs.K.Porkodi, learned Government Counsel, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned counsel, takes notice for the third respondent.
2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.
4. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that after filing of the present writ petition, the third respondent has issued a proceedings dated 05.06.2026, stating that the petitioner is reinstated into 2/5
the service.
5. In the light of the above, the present writ petition has become infructuous. However, in case the petitioner has any claim in continuity of service and backwages, he is at liberty to pursue the same by submitted representation to the third respondent. In case the petitioner makes any such representation, the same shall be considered by the third respondent in accordance with law and appropriate order to be passed as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of two (2) months from the date of submission of such representation.
6. With the said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
