For Respondent : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 497 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.2, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 4(1)(aa), 4(1-A) of Tamilnadu Prohibition Act, in Crime No.497 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner is having 25 previous cases.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the petitioner is not entitled for anticipatory bail even though he is aged about 74 years.

CRL OP(MD). No.12665 of 2022 4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The petitioner may surrender before the respondent police and seek regular bail.
