ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the respondents to conduct a peace committee meeting between three villages.

2.The petitioner has given a representation on 25.08.2018 to the respondents in this regard. It is brought to the notice of the court that pursuant to the proceedings initiated by the first respondent/District Collector, Tirunelveli, dated 20.02.2018, 6th respondent has proceeded further in the construction of a village panchayat building of Pattadaikatti panchayat, Thattankulam village. Therefore, the counsel for the 6th respondent would submit that the representation given by the petitioner, in that regard, cannot be considered. The learned counsel also brought to the notice of this Court that similar petitions were filed before this Court as Public Interest Litigation and this Court had directed the construction of the above said building and it is only pursuant to the same, the Pattadaikatti panchayat building is being constructed at Thattankulam village.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation, dated 25.08.2018 and after affording opportunities to the parties, pass suitable orders in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the petitioner should submit a copy of the representation dated 25.08.2018 along with a copy of this order so as to enable the first respondent to initiate the enquiry forhwith.
